Jason brings over a decade of Private Equity experience having acquired 30+ founder and family owned businesses across the residential & facilities services, business services, consumer, and distribution verticals. Prior to founding 5 Star, Jason served as a Vice President at MKH Capital Partners, a family-backed private equity firm with over $300M of capital under management. Prior to MKH, Jason worked at Trivest partners, a founder-focused private equity firm with over $6B of capital under management. Jason began his career in investment banking with roles at Houlihan Lokey & LionTree.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Jason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
